This is the portal for teams competing on the men’s doubles ladder in the Williamsburg Pickleball Autumn League, 2023. Below are match schedules, league points standings, top-10 team statistics and results from previous weeks.

Men’s Doubles Winners

Congratulations to the men’s doubles winners! Albon Yowell & Stefan Dennis ran through the ladder, finishing with a 7-1 record and dominating many opponents to also win the league points competition. Evan Pfeiffer & Peter Schweitzer were the only team to beat Albon & Stefan, during week six, but lost in the rematch in the final week. Evan & Peter never dropped below 3rd place on the ladder during eight weeks of competition.

Lu Long & Terrence Riggins captured the bronze with a hard-fought final match against Hermann Groombridge & Edwin Velez that went three games.

In the league points competition, Chris Correll & Mike Dahl beat many opponents convincingly in their 5-3 run through the ladder to take the silver medal ahead of Evan Pfeiffer & Peter Schweitzer.

Need to Reschedule? All matches may be rescheduled to any date/time/venue as long as both teams agree, and as long as the match is completed and scores reported to the league email address no later than 11:59PM of the Wednesday following the originally scheduled match.
